Job Summary
Caregiver duties include assisting residents with personal care (grooming, hygiene, dressing, nutrition), helping to/from dining and meals, encouraging participation in activities, listening and reporting observations to the Director, participating in in-service programs, maintaining appearance and conduct, following safety and disaster procedures, and adhering to schedule requirements. The role supports a CNA program funded by Cedarbrook, with potential certification outcomes and pay differentials for CNAs; preferred education/training and experience are noted, and the position is part-time with a 2nd shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Health care or nurse’s aide training with a 100 hour nurse’s aide training preferred
- One year nurse’s aide experience preferred
