Job Summary
Overnight caregiver for residents: provides personal care, medication reminders, meals, social/recreational activities, and housekeeping to support residents’ well-being. Maintains dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality; reviews resident Service Plans and logs to stay informed of changing needs; responds to emergency calls, follows infection control procedures, and helps with activities. Monitors changes in health/status and reports concerns per procedures; collaborates with team and reports abuse as required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and read/write English. High school diploma or GED preferred; experience with seniors preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must meet in-service training requirements
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, to occasionally lift more than 50 pounds
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Must have a general understanding of the needs of seniors
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with seniors preferred
- Experience performing care-giving tasks preferred
