Job Summary
Caregiver on a short-term Lakewood assignment with shifts shared among a small team to provide longer overnight weekday hours and weekend daytime coverage. Caregivers deliver non-medical, one-on-one support in clients’ homes, assisting with mobility, toileting, meals, and daily routines, and work according to each client’s care plan. Schedule includes overnight coverage (2:00 PM–8:00 AM) Monday–Friday and daytime/overnight weekend blocks (Saturday–Monday), with 24/7 coverage as required. Opportunities for advancement within Assisting Hands Littleton in Littleton, Lakewood, and Highlands Ranch areas; in-home care setting; requires compassionate, reliable, and professional conduct with a focus on dependable care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year caregiving experience required (in-home or facility)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pass background and CAPS checks
- 3 professional references
- Negative TB test within 30 days of hire
- Must be comfortable working in a home with cats
