Job Summary
Conduct daily personal care, including assistance with activities of daily living, meal preparation, and housekeeping tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, laundry, and vacuuming. Provide companionship, socialize with clients, and manage medication reminders through inquiries, verbal prompting, and handling marked containers. Observe client functioning, report changes to supervisors, and document all tasks and observations accurately. Maintain infection control policies, communicate with the interdisciplinary team, and fulfill assigned errands while treating clients and families with respect and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care and document tasks performed.
- Be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate dependability, tact, patience, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in cleaning, laundry, medication reminders, escort services.
- 1 year of caregiver experience
- CNA preferred: 1 year
