Job Summary
Conduct daily personal care and activities of daily living assistance, including meal planning, food preparation, and laundry services. Provide companionship, socialization, and housekeeping duties such as cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and vacuuming to maintain a safe environment. Assist with medication reminders by prompting clients, verifying intake, and managing marked containers. Observe client functioning, report changes to the supervisor, and document all tasks and observations accurately. Treat clients and families with respect while maintaining confidentiality and following infection control policies.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care and document tasks performed.
- Be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate dependability, tact, patience, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in cleaning, laundry, medication reminders, escort services.
- 1 year of caregiver experience
- CNA preferred: 1 year
