Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect personal care to patients in home settings under the direction of a registered nurse. Utilize safety measures during care delivery, maintain effective communication with supervisors regarding patient conditions, and follow written assignments developed by healthcare professionals. Document and submit accurate accounts of services provided, observe patients for changes in condition or behavior, and report findings to the supervisor. Adhere to state regulations defining the Home Health Aide role and strictly avoid prohibited tasks such as administering medication, changing sterile dressings, or performing invasive procedures. Select flexible shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours to suit your lifestyle while earning competitive hourly wages.
Required Qualifications
- Adequate health status to perform described duties.
- Ability to safely handle body fluids and hazardous waste products.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Must meet personnel qualifications.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program preferred
