Job Summary
Provide in-home, non-medical care to clients, including companionship, personal care support, assistance with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and transportation. Maintain client safety, follow care plans, observe infection control protocols, remind about medications, document tasks, and adapt to flexible scheduling (days, evenings, weekends, overnights) to meet client needs. Emphasize attentiveness, dignity, and independence for clients while supporting caregivers with training and a supportive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior caregiving/home care experience is a plus
- State certification and license in good standing, if applicable
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (proof of insurance if required for client transport)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Authorized to work in the United States
