Job Summary
On-Call Caregiver for ComForCare with 2 weekends per month on standby, must travel to client sites and support 24/7 coverage; role involves staying available between 6AM and midnight, coordinating with Office Manager, and providing reliable in-field caregiver support across multiple client environments, with supervisory and scheduling responsibilities, a bi-weekly bonus, and advancement opportunities. Requires 2-3 years caregiver experience, strong references, willingness to travel, reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license. Initial pay is $17/hour with potential to rise to $18/hour after a one-month probation period; positions may include shifts on weekdays as needed and include paid orientation/training, PPE, and various voluntary benefits.
Required Qualifications
- REQUIREMENT: At least 2-3 years in a caregiver role, including personal care
- REQUIREMENT: 2 or more strong professional references from past or current employment
- REQUIREMENT: Must be willing to travel
- REQUIREMENT: Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and ability to commit to being on-call for immediate emergency deployment for any client within Western Wayne and Downriver counties.
