Job Summary
Caregiver for Carteret County providing non-medical home care to seniors. Responsibilities include companionship and conversation, medication and appointment reminders, assistance with grooming and bathing, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, transportation and errands. NO CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIRED. Onboarding fast with customized scheduling; sign-on bonus; 24/7 office support; classroom training and hands-on training program; eligible for benefits including competitive hourly wages, direct deposit, 401K, mileage reimbursement, and client introductions. Service area includes Morehead City, Emerald Isle, Newport, Atlantic Beach and surrounding cities. Must be 18+, have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and pass background, DMV and drug screening. Previous experience as HHA, PCA, CNA, RN, or in elder care or customer service is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Age 18 or older
- Have your own reliable transportation
- Possess a valid driver's license, and valid auto insurance
- Resilient and adaptable
- Previous experience is a plus as a home health aide (HHA), personal care assistant (PCA), certified nursing assistant (CNA), registered nurse (RN)
- Previous experience is also a plus as home-care caregiver, elderly-care caregiver, working at a senior living facility, customer service or veterinary tech
- A background check, DMV check, and drug screen will be performed by Home Instead
