Job Summary
Establish and maintain community relationships while assisting individuals with daily routines, including household tasks, self-care, socializing, and behavior management. Administer medications, provide transportation, and document services through an online computer program. This role requires flexibility for split shifts, varied days including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight rotations, with regular travel to community settings. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and basic computer skills. The position reports to a House Supervisor and offers paid training in the Brooklyn Park office.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Have access to an insured vehicle
- Have a clean driving record
- Need to pass a DHS background study
- Exhibit basic computer skills
- Be comfortable working with Challenging Behaviors
- Be flexible and dependable

- Be subject to flexible hours, including split shifts, varied days and times, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnights, depending on coverage needs of the site and the company
- Be subject to frequent interruptions and imposed deadlines

- Be exposed to infectious diseases, odor, and dust
- Be subject to frequent problem-solving activities
- Have regular contact with individuals, family members, friends, and the general public, who may be hostile or emotionally upset
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma
- One year of experience delivering services to individuals with disabilities
