Job Summary
Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and hygiene, while ensuring safe mobility through wheelchair assistance and proper lifting techniques. Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles, prepare meals, and assist with light housekeeping to support independent living. Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction to help individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity. Maintain the safety and well-being of each client served with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid, non-probationary driver's license held for at least 1 year with no restrictions
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to safely bend, lift, and assist individuals with mobility
- Ability to attend paid orientation and commit to training
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months – 1 year of caregiving or human services experience
