Job Summary
Assist individuals we serve with daily living skills including meal preparation, medication administration, personal hygiene, and community outings such as medical appointments and shopping. Provide guidance on developmental goals covering household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities while supporting therapeutic and behavioral plans. Redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors and work closely with clinical staff to help persons live as independently as possible. Requires a valid driver's license, registered vehicle, and proof of insurance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license in good standing REQUIRED
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance REQUIRED
- Successful clearance of background checks
Desired Qualifications
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
