Job Summary
Transport individuals to community outings, field trips, medical appointments, and shopping while supporting therapeutic and behavioral plans. Assist with daily living skills including meal preparation, medication administration, personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting. Provide guidance on developmental goals covering community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities. Redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors as needed. This role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible within community settings. Full-time, part-time, and as-needed schedules are available for those with a valid driver's license, registered vehicle, and six months of human services experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Successful clearance of background checks
Desired Qualifications
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
