Job Summary
Provide training, assistance, and supervision to individuals receiving care in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance across residential and community settings. Assist with daily activities including meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration. Facilitate working relationships between employers and individuals served by accompanying them on outings or providing transportation to work and other activities. Work closely with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans. This role offers full, part-time, and as-needed schedules with paid training, holiday pay, and mileage reimbursement for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Six months to one year of experience in the human services field
- Valid Driver's License from state of Michigan in good standing
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
- Successful clearance of background checks
- A caring attitude with a dedication to assisting others
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
