Job Summary
Provide companionship and conversation while delivering personal care for seniors in the Myrtle Beach area, including bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom assistance, and feeding. Perform light housekeeping (laundry, linen changes), assist with dressing, plan and prepare meals, and provide medication reminders. Offer transportation to appointments and support families in learning safe care techniques. Flexible scheduling and training/support are provided in a senior-care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and transportation
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
- Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
- Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus
- Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
