Job Summary
Care Provider in Memory Care assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence, while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality. The role requires responding promptly to residents’ needs, communicating observed changes to a supervisor, and promoting teamwork across departments. Requires a high level of compassion for the elderly and strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Training is provided; candidates must be at least 18 and have a High School Diploma or GED, with background and health screenings completed as part of the onboarding process.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
