Job Summary
Care Partners provide direct, compassionate care to residents in memory care within Cogir Senior Living communities. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring), promoting independence and emotional support, encouraging participation in life enrichment activities, light housekeeping, and facilitating open communication among residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Requires at least 12 months of caregiving experience, High School Diploma or equivalent, state-required caregiver certification (or willingness to obtain), First Aid/CPR, and weekend rotation willingness. Team-oriented role focused on dignity, respect, and safety for residents.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) or willingness/ability to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain
- At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting
- Experience with memory care is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
- Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect
- Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity
- Willingness to participate in weekend rotation
