Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while administering prescribed medications and documenting intake accurately. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, maintain a clean living environment, and ensure safety for those with mobility challenges. Communicate professionally with families, support services, and coworkers, and provide regular updates on residents' well-being to the supervisor. Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures, and perform other duties as assigned. Every other weekend is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Experience working with the elderly
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Every other weekend is required
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to arrive on time for every shift
