Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care. Pass medications following physician orders while maintaining environmental cleanliness and light housekeeping. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, reporting any condition changes to the supervisor and communicating professionally with families and coworkers. Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. This part-time role requires 8-hour shifts with every other weekends. Candidates must be 18+, possess a high school diploma, have experience with the elderly, and be able to lift 50 pounds. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience passing medications
- Must be 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Experience working with the elderly
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Every other weekend is required
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Driver's license or ID
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Arrive on time for every shift
