Job Summary
Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship to Memory Care residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility. Lead one-on-one and group activities while serving residents during mealtime and helping with laundry and basic housekeeping. Ensure timely responses to resident, family, and employee concerns to maintain high customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive demeanor toward all individuals while making independent decisions to solve practical problems in non-standard situations. Requires proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word, plus experience working with seniors with dementia.
Required Qualifications
- Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations
- You have basic computer skills
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word
- You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with seniors with dementia including participation in activities is preferred
- You are compassionate, kind, engaging and helpful
