Job Summary
Provide essential in-home support to clients by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting while respecting their dignity. Manage medication reminders, prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions, and handle light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe environment. Offer mobility assistance for transfers and walking, accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings, and engage them in meaningful conversations to promote socialization. Document all care activities and significant observations in accurate records, maintain open communication with office staff regarding client progress or emergencies, and respond promptly to safety situations following established protocols. Work full-time, seven days a week from 6am to 12am, with a requirement for a valid driver's license and active auto insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- Active Auto Insurance
- Willingness to transport client
- Experience in senior care, assisted living, or working with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities
- Strong communication skills
- Empathy towards clients
- Capability to perform heavy lifting
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Active TB Test
