Job Summary
Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and feeding. Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility using assistive devices, while performing light housekeeping tasks like laundry and dishwashing. Prepare simple meals, accompany clients to doctor's appointments or community outings, and observe changes in the client's condition to report them to the supervisor. Maintain a safe and clean environment, follow care plan instructions and health/safety protocols, and respond promptly in emergency situations. High school diploma required; CNA or HHA certification preferred. Flexible work schedules and time-and-a-half pay for overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of experience in caregiving, home healthcare, hospitality, or a related field
- Certification as a CNA or HHA
- Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs and perform essential job functions
- Reliable transportation
