Job Summary
Provide personal assistance services to maintain client safety, including lifting, turning, dressing, bathing, and using the restroom. Clean client areas, prepare meals according to dietary needs, run errands, and transport clients in your own vehicle with proper documentation. Report violations of client rights, maintain confidentiality, and complete all required documentation and training submissions. Submit schedule changes or issues to your immediate supervisor promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English
- Must have honesty and integrity
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Vehicle insurance
- Must have a CNA, PCA or HHA certificate
- Must have a current CPR and TB screening
- Must have at least one year previous experience in care giving for the elderly or have a current CNA certificate
- Must not have a criminal record which would bar employment
- Must be able to tolerate a physical workload including standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to tolerate a variety of housing conditions
Desired Qualifications
- at least one year experience in a variety of senior care settings as a Caregiver or a CNA
