Job Summary
Assist clients with personal hygiene, nutritional needs, and household activities while maintaining skin integrity and infection control standards. Communicate effectively with families and staff regarding client needs, submit accurate documentation for billing, and provide transportation to appointments. Respond appropriately to emergencies and work independently to prioritize visit schedules with minimal supervision. Maintain a professional attitude, adhere to universal precautions, and report absences or delays to office staff promptly. Available for weekday, weekend, overnight, and 12-hour shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- HCA Certification
- CPR Certification
- Valid Drivers License
- Auto Insurance
- Minimum age of 18 years
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good verbal, written and reading skills in English
- Be able to drive yourself to and from your assignments
- Previous experience applicable to position
- Must be able to work weekend requirements
- Must be able to work variable shifts
- Must be dependable
- Must be able to report to assignments on time
- Communicates in a timely manner with office staff regarding delayed arrivals or absences from assignments
- Maintains a positive, respectful and professional attitude
- Performs all tasks according to policies regarding Infection Control and Universal Precautions
