Job Summary
Provide personal care and assist with daily routines while managing the household to keep the home organized. Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals based on client preferences, and handle light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping. Remind the client of medication schedules and offer companionship with safety supervision. Transport the client to appointments, errands, and activities using the client's vehicle. This live-in role requires a current NJ CHHA license, two years of caregiving experience, and a valid driver's license for immediate consideration in Essex County.
Required Qualifications
- Current NJ CHHA license
- 2+ years of caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable and confident driving the client's car
- Strong home management and organizational skills
- Comfortable planning and preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals
- Dependable, patient, caring, and professional
