Job Summary
Caregiver at Leisure Living in Whitehall (MI): provide comfort, safety and general supervision to residents; administer medications per physician orders; review eMAR and physician orders; assist with activities of daily living; respond to call lights and alarms; observe and report changes to Care Coordinator/Director; complete daily charting and maintain records; take weights and vitals; participate in training and lead activities with Life Enrichment; maintain cleanliness and assist with meals; promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors; adhere to performance expectations and quality standards; requires high school diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- CPR/First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire
- Experience using Microsoft Office in Windows environment
- Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Team-oriented and able to work with supervisor
- Respectful and professional communication with residents, families, coworkers and leadership
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
