Job Summary
Lead by example in an overnight, 12-hour shift role providing hands-on care (hygiene, mobility, meals, medication reminders) while mentoring other caregivers, conducting home-safety assessments, quality-and-safety visits, and maintaining documentation. Responsibilities include coaching peers, onboarding caregivers, coordinating with families, serving on on-call rotation, and triaging caregiver call-outs, with emphasis on delivering high-quality home-care and ensuring client safety.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of professional caregiving, HHA, CNA, or home-health experience (lead/supervisory duties a plus)
- First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain—paid by employer)
- Proven ability to coach peers and communicate effectively with clients, families, and clinical staff
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift / transfer clients as needed
- Tech-savvy enough to document care notes in a mobile app or EMR
