Job Summary
The Care Provider assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence, while maintaining dignity and safety. Responds promptly to residents' needs, communicates any changes to a supervisor, and helps maintain a safe, secure environment. Encourages teamwork and cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments. Must be at least 18, have a High School Diploma or GED, possess strong customer service skills, and be capable of communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Training will be provided if needed; the role emphasizes compassionate care for the elderly within Oakmont Management Group’s senior living communities in California (Oakland). The position also notes health and safety protocols including required health screenings and PPE.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- Possess written and verbal communication skills
- Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (including TB)
