Job Summary
The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care to senior residents to enhance independence and quality of life, including ADLs such as eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence; respond promptly to residents’ needs while preserving dignity and safety; communicate observed changes to a supervisor; maintain a safe environment; and encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Vaccinations/health protocols per regulatory guidelines (may require participation in daily screening, surveillance testing, PPE)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- Written and verbal communication skills with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and their families
