Job Summary
Care Provider delivers personal assistance and daily care to residents in a senior living community, following the resident's care plan to enhance independence and quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence), responding promptly to residents' needs while preserving dignity and safety, communicating observed changes to a supervisor, maintaining a safe environment, and promoting teamwork across departments. Requires good communication, customer service, and a compassionate approach to elderly residents; training is provided if experience is not required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly
- Ability to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests
- Vaccination and PPE as required by regulatory guidelines
