Job Summary
Provide physical and psychosocial care to residents as a Resident Care Assistant, including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, toileting, eating, ambulation), ensuring dignity and individualized care. Collaborate with wellness staff, report abuse or changes in residents’ condition, follow infection-control guidelines, operate basic medical/office equipment, coordinate internal transportation, and assist with resident communication. Maintain professional demeanor, document services, participate in activities programs, and support housing-and-care operations. Requires ability to lift up to 40 pounds; drug testing and background check on hire; experience in Assisted Living preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
