Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Prepare meals according to dietary needs, perform light housekeeping tasks, and monitor health or behavioral changes while providing medication reminders. Offer companionship, emotional support, and transportation to appointments or errands as applicable. Follow care plans, document services, and maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety. Maintain a valid driver's license and pass required background checks including PA criminal and FBI screenings if applicable. This role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and close-to-home assignments within a supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if transportation assistance is required)
- Ability to lift 25–50 pounds, depending on client needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic
- 18 years old or more
- Have a valid ID
- Able to pass a PA criminal background check
- Able to pass an FBI background check if you have not been a PA resident for 2 years
- TB Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year hands-on caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
