Job Summary
Provide in-home assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility; cook and serve meals to meet dietary needs; perform light housekeeping; monitor health and report changes; provide medication reminders; offer companionship and emotional support; assist with transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities; follow care plans and document services; maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation (if transportation assistance is required)
- Ability to lift 25–50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic
- 1-year hands-on caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
- 18 years old or more
- Have a valid ID
- Able to pass a PA criminal background check
- Able to pass an FBI background check if you have not been a PA resident for 2 years
- TB Clearance
