Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Prepare meals according to dietary needs, perform light housekeeping, and provide medication reminders. Monitor client health and behavior changes while reporting updates to the care team. Offer companionship, emotional support, and transportation assistance for appointments or errands. Follow established care plans, document services provided, and maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety. Valid driver's license, ability to lift 25–50 pounds, and strong communication skills are required. Flexible scheduling and weekly pay are available for this in-home role.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if transportation assistance is required)
- Ability to lift 25–50 pounds, depending on client needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic
- 18 years old or more
- Have a valid ID
- Able to pass a PA criminal background check
- Able to pass an FBI background check if you have not been a PA resident for 2 years
- TB Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year hands-on caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
