Job Summary
Provide one-on-one non-medical care to seniors, including companionship, light cooking and cleaning, bathing, grooming, toileting, ambulation assistance, and medication reminders. Transport clients for appointments and errands while maintaining their dignity and fostering meaningful relationships. Ensure clients receive timely medication reminders and support their desire to age in place in their own homes. This role requires a mature, caring individual with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license if transporting clients. Required Qualifications
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
- Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
- Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
Desired Qualifications
- CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
- Exceptional communication skills
- Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
