Job Summary
Provide one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors and individuals in need, focusing on personal care such as bathing, grooming, and toileting. Deliver companionship and emotional support while assisting with mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. Facilitate transportation to appointments and community outings to promote client independence. Maintain a flexible schedule and ensure reliability for all daily living activities. This role supports clients in their own homes, fostering meaningful relationships within a compassionate team environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1,000 hours of caregiving experience, including approximately 6 months of full-time or 12 months of part-time experience caring for seniors or individuals with chronic illnesses
- Current TB test
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle (if transporting clients)
- Ability to pass a national criminal background check and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- CNA or HHA certification
