Job Summary
Provide companionship, light cooking and cleaning, and assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and medication reminders for seniors. Transport clients to appointments and errands while fostering relationships that support aging in place. Maintain dignity and compassion throughout all one-on-one interactions. A CNA or HHA license is preferred, along with current TB testing, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Required Qualifications
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
- Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
- Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
Desired Qualifications
- CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
- Exceptional communication skills
- Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
