Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care while providing companionship and emotional support. Maintain environmental cleanliness through light housekeeping and report any changes in resident condition to the supervisor. Communicate professionally with families, support services, and coworkers while complying with all safety and health standards and infection control procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Work AM (9:30 AM – 11:00 AM) and PM (6:30 PM – 7:30 PM) shifts two times daily with flexibility required. Must pass a criminal background check and possess reliable transportation with a valid driver's license. Join Homestead Health Care in Saginaw, MI to foster genuine relationships with seniors.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Experience working with the elderly
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Driver's license or ID
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Arrive on time for every shift
- Flexibility to work AM (9:30 AM – 11:00 AM) and PM (6:30 PM – 7:30 PM) shifts 2x daily
- Med passing experience
- Every other weekend availability
