Job Summary
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Provide medication reminders, prepare nutritious meals, and perform light housekeeping to maintain safe environments. Escort clients to appointments and recreational activities while offering companionship and emotional support. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, including daily activity logs and medication administration records. Communicate effectively with clients and families in English to ensure clear understanding of care needs. Full-time position with Monday through Friday schedule. Based in Columbia, MD, with relocation required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude towards clients
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass background checks
- Ability to pass physical
- Active CPR Certification
- Relocate before starting work
