Job Summary
Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide non-medical home care to seniors in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria Counties. Responsibilities include providing companionship, assisting with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming), light housekeeping and meal preparation, providing medication reminders, assisting with mobility and transportation to appointments, monitoring and reporting changes in client condition, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Schedule options include day, evening, and weekend shifts with both full-time and part-time positions available. Service areas include Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, Goleta, Carpinteria, Solvang, Buellton and surrounding communities. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain CPR
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain First Aid
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Physical ability to assist with mobility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but training provided
