Job Summary
Assist clients with meal preparation, housekeeping, personal hygiene care, and transportation as needed. Provide companionship and support for individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, as well as those living with chronic disabilities or aging. Manage daily tasks to maintain client dignity, privacy, and independence while working independently with good judgment. Complete pre-employment background checks and maintain confidentiality. This role is part of a team delivering personalized care programs including Alzheimer's support and respite care to help people stay at home.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of prior professional in home care experience
- Eighteen years of age or older with valid driver's license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of working responsibly with confidential information
- Able to work independently with good judgement
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check
