Job Summary
Assist clients with daily activities including bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and accompanying them on walks, outdoor activities, and transportation to doctor appointments. Provide emotional companionship to brighten clients' days while maintaining a safe environment and adhering to established protocols. Communicate promptly to the Director of Nursing regarding any changes in a client's condition. Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality. Maintain physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform varied assistance tasks. This part-time role requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- CPR certification
- Current physical or TB/PPD test, if applicable
- Ability to adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance with your own reliable vehicle
