Job Summary
Assist participants with personal care activities and instrumental activities of daily living while implementing strategies to promote increased self-care and independence. Reinforce and comply with all rehab initiatives and clinical modalities. Provide support for individuals maintaining independence in their home and community through the LIFE program, which serves residents in Armstrong, Butler, Beaver, and Lawrence Counties. Shifts vary, with typical hours from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, plus every fourth weekend. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and dependable transportation to visit clients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 year related experience and/or training
- Dependable transportation with a valid driver's license
- At least one (1) year experience with the frail or elderly
