Job Summary
Nurse Next Door is seeking compassionate Caregivers who can provide non-medical services to elderly or disabled clients in their homes. Responsibilities include executing care plans, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and performing household services. Candidates must have a high school diploma or be enrolled in a vocational program, possess a current Home Care Aide registration, and have the ability to work independently while demonstrating empathy and good hygiene. Flexible working hours between 10 to 40 hours per week are available.
Required Qualifications
- Must have HCA
- Willing to get live scan
- At least 18 years of age
- Current registration with the State of California Home Care Aide Registry
- Completion of a criminal background check
- Evidence of tuberculosis testing
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Self-directing with little supervision
- Empathy for the needs of the ill
- Demonstrates tact, patience, and good personal hygiene
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance or reliable transportation

- Must complete all registration and training requirements as specified by the State of California Department of Social Services
