Job Summary
Home care aides are responsible for executing care plans, assisting clients with daily living activities, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, and companionship. Required qualifications include being at least 18 years old, holding a current registration with the State of California Home Care Aide Registry, and completing background checks and tuberculosis testing. Candidates should be self-directed, empathetic, and able to follow written instructions. This position offers flexible part-time to full-time hours.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Current registration with the State of California Home Care Aide Registry
- Completion of a criminal background check
- Evidence of tuberculosis testing
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Empathy for the needs of the ill and impaired
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance or reliable transportation

- Home care aides must be 18 years old or a high school graduate if under 18
