Job Summary
Provide personal care and support to seniors living at home, including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and companionship. Assist with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises while ensuring a safe environment with unobstructed pathways. Remind clients of medication, document conditions, and notify supervisors of concerns. Participate in activities like puzzles, games, and reading to bring joy to clients. Maintain Mandarin or Cantonese fluency, hold an active HCA registration in CA, and possess a valid driver's license. Set your own schedule within the Mission District or Richmond District while earning $20 to $24 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- MUST SPEAK MANDARIN or CANTONESE
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in CA
- CPR certification
- Covid-19 vaccination card
- Valid CA driver's license, auto insurance and transportation
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
- CNA (Preferred)
