Job Summary
Provide personal care and support to seniors living at home, including bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, transportation and companionship. Assist with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises. Monitor and document condition, provide medication reminders, notify a supervisor of concerns, and maintain a safe home environment. Engage clients in activities such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies to promote well-being.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in CA
- Six months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
- CPR certification
- Covid-19 vaccination card
- Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
