Job Summary
Caregiver role providing in-home care to seniors and veterans in the Vacaville/Dixon area. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, transfers and ambulation, exercises as appropriate, meal planning and preparation, incontinence care, companionship, light housekeeping, laundry, transportation, medication assistance, and documenting services. Must report changes in client condition, complete required records, participate in entry-level and annual training, and maintain an active Home Care Aide registration with the State of California. Requires 18+ years old, 1 year caregiving experience preferred, background check, TB testing, and valid driver’s license with auto insurance or reliable transportation. Pay is $20.00-$21.00 per hour; part-time or full-time in-person roles in Vacaville, CA.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- 1 Year Caregiving Experience (preferred)
- Completion of a criminal background check
- Evidence of tuberculosis testing and verification that the caregiver does not have active tuberculosis
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance and/or reliable transportation
- HCA (Preferred)
