Job Summary
Provide personal care support including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance. Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities while performing housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks. Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed, alongside providing companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life. Help clients with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments when applicable. Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client. HHA certification from the State of New York is required, with a high school diploma or GED preferred. Experience caring for the elderly or disabled is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- HHA certification from the State of New York
- Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
