Job Summary
Provide social companionship and support with daily living tasks including feeding, medication reminders, bathing, grooming, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. Assist clients with transportation to appointments and outings, standby transfers, and overnight safety. Work one-on-one with seniors to enhance their quality of life with dignity and compassion. No healthcare certification required; CNA, HHA, or geriatric care experience preferred. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel 15 miles for shifts required. Full or part-time options available with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
- Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proof of valid driver's license
- Valid automobile insurance
- Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
Desired Qualifications
- CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons
- Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care
